MODE SHANGHAI 2012 ATTRACTED CONSIDERABLE NUMBER OF HIGH QUALITY BUYERS Shanghai, China, March 22, 2012- Total 10,562 buyers, 26,862 times visit, primarily fashion retail buyers as well fashion media attended at MODE SHANGHAI 2012, held from 13 to 15 March at SNIEC(Shanghai New Int’l Expo Center) in Shanghai, China, which is an increase of 58% comparing to the previous edition, held in March 2011. Majority of buyers came from shopping malls, department stores, distributors and select shops from Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang province such as Bailian Group, Pacific Dept. Store, Plaza 66 mall, Grand Gateway, Hangzhou Yintai, Hangzhou Shopping City, Wuxi Next Stage, Changzhou Shopping Center, Shinmay Square, Super Brand Mall, Time Square, Raffles City, 353 Square, Chanel One, Seven days, DBHK, IT, Joyce, etc. Occupying a total space of 25,000sqm,up by 110% over last edition, total 292 participated brands, an increase of 37% over last edition, from 13 countries and regions such as Italy, France, UK, Japan, USA, Russia, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. were presented at Mode Shanghai 2012. As always, Mode Shanghai offering a mix of selective collections from China, Italy, France, Korea, Japan and other countries, in order to offer its level of creativity and quality and to meet the buyers’ delivery and quality requirements.

Shanghai Fashion Week: 2012 F/W Collection Shanghai Fashion Week was held conjointly with Mode Shanghai at the same venue in the same period amplifying the synergy. Trend Forum 2012 S/S: “My French Wardrobe” by Muriel Piaser Fashion trend forum under the theme of “My French Wardrobe” directed by Ms. Muriel Piaser, Art Director of Mode Shanghai, presented at the space of 72sqm. Opening Ceremony, Jazz Performance and More

With the trade show and fashion shows, the programs of Mode Shanghai 2012 became more various as well. Opening Ceremony party included Opening Speech, Celebrating Fashion Show: “The Peach Girl into Fashion collections” and designer “Park Jong Chul” , The Peach Girl Award ceremony and cocktail party. The Peach Girl Collection Park Jong Chul Jazz performance by Heidi Krenn with band was held on 13 March in order to celebrate the show at the special stage in hall N2. Heidi Krenn entertained the crowd of exhibitors and visitors. Up-and coming vocalist Heidi Krenn embodies a rare combination of classic jazz tradition and bold new style. Having studied and performed with highly respected musicians in Europe as well as with the Theo Croker Quartet at the House of Blues and Jazz in Shanghai, she now showcases her unique vocal abilities among New York’s jazz elite. Motor show by Lamborghini, Lamborghini displayed 2 luxurious Lamborghini cars in hall N2 and had interactive event with visitors. Bailian Group is a state-owned company and the largest circulation industrial company in China with 7,180 outlets in 25 provinces and municipalities including department stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, shopping malls, franchise stores and logistics.
